3 Meditation and Mindfulness Apps that Can Help You Release Stress and Resistance.

Updated: Jul 12, 2018

When I started learning how to meditate, I thought to myself 'damn that's hard!'. I just couldn't get myself to stop thinking. I am a future thinker, and future thinkers are prone to panic and anxiety attacks. (While past thinkers are prone to depression from the lack of ability to let go).

So anyway, it started out with me googling 'guided meditation' to finding these amazing apps that helped me with my meditation. I am going to share it to you, just in case you're in need of guidance while meditating.

Available for both Apple and Android. Ratings: 5 Stars.

I love this one, this is the first app I downloaded for meditation.

Psychiatrist and addiction expert Judson Brewer researches mindfulness techniques that effectively help quell cravings of all kinds - Calm

The best thing about this app, apart from it’s many guided meditations, is it has a few unique features like 'Daily Calm' that will remind you to pause and stop thinking for at least 15 seconds, also Sleep Stories to help you fall asleep better at night, and Calm Masterclass. They have many mindfulness topics that you can learn straight from the experts.

My good friend told me about this app, also one of my favorite. This app has new tracks added every day for you to meditate. They also have inspirational tracks, music and poetries that will inspire you to do better in life. Joyful, fulfilling life. Meditation, relaxation, sleep, all in one app.

Writing or journaling is a part of meditating. When we're doing it in a state of being, stillness and gratefulness. This app will guide us to start seeing the beauty in every moment. If we can find at least one thing to appreciate daily, our lives and state of mind will be way way waaaay joyful!

If you know any other great apps please drop your comment below, I would love to check them out :)
